To the best of my knowledge i don't believe Volcy Ventures are working with AVG, i have just taken a look at their website and they do have the following disclaimer "Important: Volcy Ventures is an Independent Onsite and Online IT Support Company. We are unaffiliated with any 3rd party brand unless otherwise specified."
In the interest of making sure you are totally protected so that no mishaps can happen i am going to escalate this to the support guys as they should know more .
