We're glad to clarify this for you.
AVG Secure VPN will help us to mask the IP address of the computer & pose it in a different region to bypass geolcation restriction.
Due to this, the devices in the same network will not be able to communicate with the computer, which is usual.
However, we'd like to clarify how you identified that AVG Secure VPN is causing the issue. Did you disconnect AVG Secure VPN to check?
If disconnecting Secure VPN provides you the access to network devices.

Since VPN installation my TV, AV receiver and Sky Q do not show in My Network. This means I am unable to use Airplay with any of these devices. How do I ensure that they are visible and usable on my network.
