I can connect to the internet fine without the VPN. I first set my VPN settings to CloudFlare and then to Cisco and flushed dns when that didn't help I restarted hoping that would give me some relief but no dice. I've gone through he FAQ you suggested and it still won't let me connect. As for the Firewall, are there any ports I specifically need to open for AVG?
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi all,
So I went through the Getting Started article with Windows 10 and did all the setup and flushed DNS with ipconfig yet when I go to turn it on I get a popup box saying "Connection ERROR Sorry it's not possible to establish a connection."
I get the same error on my Windows 10 laptop. I'm wondering if it's Xfinity/Comcast that's causing an issue? A firewall or something?
At this point if it's not going to work I'm going to need to cancel my subscription for this. It's simply a waste of money if it doesn't work…
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Jeff
Could you disable AVG firewall or any other 3rd party firewall temporarily and check if you can turn on VPN connection? There are not specific ports to open in AVG firewall for AVG Secure VPN and they are not meant to conflict with each other. We'd request to uninstall AVG Secure VPN and reinstall it to check if that resolves the issue.
