AVG VPN is still inconsistent in its ability to access various web sites. If I select New York City, then I cannot access the US Postal Service usps.com, apparently because they do not trust your New York server. If I choose Gotham City, then I can access usps.com, but then my email program Thunderbird cannot retrieve my email from my ISP Optimum Online, and I must visit the web page to deal with my email. Also if I use Gotham City, I cannot post comments to Youtube videos, yet I can at the same time post to a channel's Community page. I have given up commenting on anything at this point, but that is another issue. If I choose a more outlying server, such as Toronto, Canada, it not only slows my service and increases ping lag, but may not address all the other issues all the time. Since I am paying for this service, you are beholden to me to make it work properly in all instances. I have reported these problems before and nothing has been done. I urge you to get off your duff and make sure that your VPN servers are understood by major web sites to be safe. If there is reason for them to mistrust AVG VPN, then it is also your responsibility to police your throughput, separate the wheat from the chaff. If you do not or cannot, you will lose customers. I have been investigating other VPN providers. I am tired of having to switch VPN channels all the time to make up for your product's inconsistency. If there is a more suitable product out there, brand loyalty is not going to save your profits.
