VPN is blocking my email both incoming and outgoing

Have just started having an issue where my email is being blockedby the VPN if I turn it off it works fine, can send and recieve, but when onn send and receive fails?

nope that hasnt worked the VPN is set to optimal and still wont send or receive when on as soon as I turn off the VPN no issue!
