Good Morning,
I hosted a Zoom Meeting this morning for 30 minutes and the VPN disconnected twice during the meeting.
I am familiar somewhat with traffic management and I know you never design a network for 100% connectivity but this is ridiculous.
Your suggestion to try another hub is not a bad idea, but since I cannot se how busy the other hubs are between 7:00AM and 9:00 PM Eastern Time, I have no idea of which hub to try. For my work computer I use a VPN hub on the West Coast of USA because it is more lightly used by our company during my peak hours. But I know that because someone in the Network Operations Center had the traffic data and made that recommendation.
You advice to try something different until it works while well meaning doesn't really help much. Would your VPN have dropped out twice in a 30 minute period on another node as well? Remember, I am paying you for this service not the other way around. You are basically asking me to test and evaluate your network to see what's best for me. I think that is what you should be doing.
I don't expect 100% but I do expect something approaching that. I logged in at 0700 this morning and I have already been disconnected from the VPN 3 times in 90 minutes.
You should not be satisfied with that.
Respectfully,
Norm Walker
I have the same problem been going on some time now that is why I will not be renewing my supscription
Hi Norman.
We're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We'd request you to click Change location and try connecting to another location (different VPN server) and check if the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, please uninstall and install it again.
VPN keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. This has been a persistent problem since I started the service. This is real problem during Zoom meetings and conducting financial transactions. If I turn the VPN off, I do not have the problem Almost seems like you don't have sufficient capacity.
I now have Secure VPN, Secure Browser, Internet Security and Tune-up. It seems like every week you come up with something else. That would not be so bad if it all worked seamlessly but that does no seem to be the case.
Can you keep the VPN from frequently disconnecting?
