If you haven't, change the server/location of your AVG Secure VPN to one of the 'P2P or Streaming' servers & check for the issue.

hi,i just bought avg ultimate. works fine but when i put vpn on al internet is gone. ie,google chrome,microsoft edge.even the avg secure webbrowser

It could be possible that the VPN server you connected to earlier was not allowing any traffic or it was handling requests at its capacity.
