VPN Purchased but I'm getting a free trial expired message after 30 days

Jason, Did you resolve your issue with AVG?.
AVG Guru

I used the VPN free trial and it worked perfectly for me so i decided to pay for a year subscription. It worked for a month and then said my free trial expired and to purchase it. I uninstalled, reinstalled and same message. I logged into my account on AVG and t says i have a paid subscription. It stated the license wasn't activated and i just needed to log in…? So i uninstalled and reinstalled again and of course logged in and same message. Support asked if i clicked refresh license, which of course i did. The asked for me to uninstall and reinstall, which i did yet again, Asked for a screen shot, Which i provided, and then said they could't help and to contact a support tier who can remote in to my computer. So i followed the link, it required me to download an app to in order to do the remote into my computer. The app will not open, I tried multiple browsers and nothing,
Once last ditch effort, i removed everything AVG related from my PC including the security software which i hadn't used in some time.
Reinstalled the VPN. Same message but now it's saying it expired in January of 2017???
I would like to get it to work as it did when it was free rather than get a refund but…at this point im no sure what else to try

Jason, please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused. To analyze the issue further, I need to submit your concern to our senior technicians along with other diagnostic logs.

Negative. They offered more advice on removing all previous traces of AVG which I'm fairly certain I have. But i'm giving it one last shot this evening. But something just seems funky with the whole license recognition thing.
