VPN turns itself off also bombarded with AVG ads

Hello Aurora,

This isn't the expected behavior.
Let's restart the VPN service and check if that fixes the issue. To do so:
1. Press Windows and R key simultaneously to open Run command.
2. In Run window, type as "services.msc" without the quotes and click on OK button.
3. In the Services console, locate and right-click AVG VPN Services and select Properties.
4. In the General tab, click the drop-down menu next to Startup type and select Automatic. Then click Apply to confirm changes.
5. Restart the services.
6. Reboot your PC and check the status.

Many of our users find these offers useful. We handpick them from our own products or those of partners we feel can add to your security or digital experience. The frequency of pop ups can be controlled directly from the app or can be even turned off (please open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > general > Privacy - Uncheck 'Show pop up offers for AVG products & 3rd party products' - Ok.).'

Hi
I have just renewed my VPN and upgraded to Ultimate.
As a result I have found that I am now being continually bombarded with ads from AVG for their other products - I did not pay for this additional "feature"
Secondly, I have noticed that my VPN will often turn itself off and reconnects when I maximise the window - I wonder if in fact I do have continual coverage or if it only provides the coverage when I have the full screen up !
I am beginning to regret that I have renewed my subscription to AVG
