Warning pop ups in avg free not showing

I did not have time to check as when I saw that my anti virus was not working properly I clicked FIX IT imediatelty. My issue was that I only saw this by chance on the AVG shortcut in my lower task bar. NO POP UP WINDOW showed & I believe this should have done so to warn me.

Not now as I clicked fixed. I have occassionally got this. Never had problems with AVG until a new version 12 months ago. I have allowed pop up windows to show & done 2 repairs in the last 4-6 weeks. Most times works OK & now scanning much quicker which is good for my deep scan.

I understand the inconvenience.
May I know which AVG component got disabled?
If you provide the (screenshot) of AVG dashboard that shows the disabled component, it will be easy for us to provide quick assistance.

I only now connect to the internet after I have checked that AVG free is running correctly as in the past it often showed that a component that should be running was disabled. Today while browsing I happened by chance to see in my lower task bar that AVG had a ! which indicated a component was disabled. Why did I not immediately get a pop up window to warn me ? This used to happen a year ago. Thanks

Joanne, do you still have a exclamatory mark on AVG system tray icon.
Is your AVG program showing as "You are protected" ?
