Hello, I was asked to start a new post regarding an issue I am having with my ASUS gaming laptop, AVG, and Windows 10 running the game War Thunder.
I have seen a lot of others with similar issues. The issue arose after a recent AVG update, Windows update and War Thunder update. When I launch WT from the Steam library a “fatal error: exemption” occurs with the Gaijin reporting window. If I ignore the error I am still able to play, but am now experiencing crashing and freezing in game. I have uninstalled both WT and AVG. Until I removed the NVIDIA experience app the game was unplayable. I have tried all the fixes I could find on the forums from changing resolution settings, Vsync on/off, OpenGL, deleting game cache, manually updating drivers etc.
i am at a total loss, any help would be greatly appreciated thank you!
