I lately have been getting boot ups that start the watchdog screen , but it continues through to boot and everything was fine, never really have had an issue. I create new restore points regularly delete the older ones, Last night I was in the C drive disk cleanup tool. Which I regularly do when cleaning up up my computer. It creates a restore point before it does anything to delete any of the old files all well and good all that worked fine. Everything seemed well and good last night when I shut it down to go to bed. this morning I tried to boot it back up and it went to the black Watchdog screen started at Phase 0 went to phase one said Phase 1 finished. And then it never went anywhere else… I have now unsuccessfully tried many things. Unsuccessfully at this point to try to bring it past that screen.
They are as follows:
1.Third boot automatic repair.
* it looks like your computer is unable to boot up restarting it sometimes that works. Upon reboot time prison it with the same black screen in Watchdog error 0 through 1 and then phase finished and nothing.
2. Startup repair.
* startup repair was unable to fix your computer try Advanced options.
3. Restore your computer to an earlier date.
* two earlier restore points visible… Scan says there are no visible issues with them. An hour and a half of restoring your files screen for each one listed, and neither of them were able to restore my computer.
Telling me that I need to try another one or get a hold of Microsoft.
4.So I start looking at google, says this Watchdog issue is an AVG/ Logitec issue and Is because have something plugged into your USB when you turn on your power, Except I don't have anything plugged into my USB. Tried their fix anyway of taking my battery out and unplugging it pushing the power and plugging it back in and no effect.
5.Tried booting in safe mode several times to delete AVG, it gets me all the way to the point where it's going to restart itself to boot into safe mode then it goes into a black screen never and goes any farther.
6.I am able to boot into a command screen but sfc is unable to locate any problem.
7. No memory diagnostic I have run has been able to find any issues everything seems to pass.
8.I have tried a recovery disk but I only have this one computer that's on Pro the other one is on home version and 32 bit so that was unsuccessful.
9. I tried downloading the rescue disk from AVG it doesn't seem to do anything to solve the problem.
10. I can't seem to get DISM to run right every code I keep finding for command lines always seem to have /Online in the repair and it won't accept it it says DISM cannot service with online PE… The only thing I have not tried right now that I can think of off top the top of my head and looking around, Is resetting my PC which will mean losing unreplaceable files.

CMD boots from safe mode but not the pc, it won't restore, it won't repair, your own rescue tool said it was quitting… "walked off the job" said it couldn't do what it needed to do so it was exciting then stayed at a # cmd prompt that could be typed in.
Please follow the steps below to work around this issue:
-Reboot the system in safe mode. (If you are unable to boot into safemode when experiencing a watchdog issue, please review the article Windows 10 safemode recovery drive instructions. https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?l=&urlName=Windows-10-safemode-recovery-drive-instuctions&q=watchdog).
