Can you share the (screenshot) of message that says when you try to locate the device?

AVG Protection Pro on a Android Sony Xperia…When I'm logged onto my laptops AVG account it shows my MOB's details…BUT the  <Locate> icon has <OFF> over it. When I select the <Locate> icon it returns the message on a blue background bar < We are unable to connect to your device X>.Although It's showing the data and location from 40 mins ago!
None of the Anti-theft commands seem to work either? What have I not switched on?

Please let me know the version of AVG installed on your android device.

Login to your AVG MyAccount from this link http://my.avg.com and check if the Anti-Theft features work.
