i get same problem as top post web pages just wont load sometimes , turn off agv all works fine. thinking after many yaers now going somewhere elce
I have noticed that my web browser on my MacBook Pro has become frustratingly slow. It takes forever for a page to load. I checked all the usual suspects, extensions - (there are none) cleared the cache -(helps some but not much). I had always read that AVG works in the back ground but won't slow down the computer. I decided to test it and see if it might be the problem. I turned off the file shield in AVG and guess what. My browser is as fast as it was brand new. Is there a way to fix this so that my web browsing can be secure and not have it slow as molasses?
