Web Shield blocking me from accessing the internet

Are you using a free version of AVG or paid version?

As stated in the title, for the past month, web shield is blocking me from accessing the internet. While this happens, it's not always. Say I turn PC on and open browser, browse the web, all things are fine and all of a sudden if I refresh a page, it won't refresh anymore.

I sometimes can't access everyday websites likes Facebook, G-Mail, Google dot com. So, in order to fix this, I have to open AVG antivirus and then turn off the Web Shield, then reload the web pages, then it is fine for another few hours. This is annoying as well. I know I am just a single user, but it can't be a problem ONLY for me. I'll maybe give it 1 more week, after that, going to install something else.

Yes, definitely, I will uninstal the AVG, but I won't reinstal it. I'll switch to a different vendor.
Kaspersky maybe. They have a free version too. But yes, if this problem is ever fixed, please do reply here. Till then, thanks.
