Hello Barry & Lorrie. Here are two common ways that people get malware:
Downloads: Sometimes you download a program to let you do certain things online, but the program also contains bad software. Even though you can see and use the program you wanted, the other program might be running in the background. These additional programs can do things like add toolbars or ads to your browser.
Extensions: Safe extensions that you have on your computer are sometimes purchased by hackers. When they update the extension, they can install malware onto your computer.
To protect your computer from malware in the future, only click links and downloads from sites that you trust.
Please try the steps below and check if you could get rid of the issue.
1. Remove unwanted/unknown programs and browser extensions on your computer that you don't remember installing.
2. After you have removed unwanted programs from your computer, reset your browser settings.
so, any experts out there with a solution?
I'm having the same problem. So far the only site that is doing this is younkers.com. I'm trying to order something online and I can't because I can't stay on the site long enough to even search for it. It redirects to the same site.
Hello Barry, I apologize for the inconvenience caused. For your information the issue has been resolved now.
When I go to certain web sites (not all) my browser redirects to this site: a.agvzwof.com
Any feed back?
