Websites being blocked ar

I tried turning off the Fake website protection (unsuccessful) but Chrome still not blocking most URLs including Amazon and such. Been a week now. Really frustrating. My IT tech team (Baguio City)  has been working on it for two days without success. I cant be the only one with this issue. Perhaps you could have an AVG senior tech connect with my Senior tech and sort this out. Feels to me that AVG's got a bug and we're debugging it for you at our expense.
Hello Bob,

I regret for the inconvenience caused.

Please disable AVG temporarily on your computer and check if you are able to connect to websites.

To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and you can see a scroll bar to "Disable Protection". Please click on the same to disable AVG Protection and check if you are able to access this websites.

If you are able to access, then please open AVG Internet Security, click on "Menu->settings->Components->Firewall->Policies->System Rules".

Enable all the settings that are not configured.

Click on "OK", then select "Network Profile", change the profile to "Private" when selected in "Public".

If you still face any difficulties, please let us know and we will assist you further.
I uninstalled AVG programs and restored settings. My computer is now stable for the first time in 2 weeks. Now I need help reinstalling AVG - Ultimate, Driver Updates, & VPN.

Installed AVG Ultimate, VPN & Updater on Windows 10 Desktop… immediately, most but not all URLs became "Protected" / Blocked on Chrome & Firefox… even Amazon and the like. After trying to resolve myself, my call to AVG support 1 day after purchase resulted in rude support person insisting it wasn't an AVG issue… sure. So still no resolution. Suggestions?

Hello Bob,
I really appreciate your effort in resolving this issue so far. I request you to disable "Fake website protection" (open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > components > disable "Fake website protection") component and let me know if you can access all the websites.
Best regards,
Alok.
