We've safely aborted connection on xml.vespymedia.com because it was infected with URL:Blacklist

Hi Neil,

We're sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We will have to identify why threat popups keeps appearing.
Could you provide the screenshot of threat detection popup by clicking on "see details" from it?
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image' symbol from 'Answer' field.
Are you using AVG Antivirus free or paid AVG Internet Security?

A complete removal and then re-install of Chrome has worked. I've not had any of these pop-up messages for a couple of days now.

Hi

I keep getting these error messages from Google Chrome. The messages sometimes appear when I am away from my Windows 10 desktop, so it seems as though something in the background is trying to connect to this site.

I have reset Chrome to the original settings, but this didn't help. I also searched the Windows registry for vespy but didn't find anything. I use the free version of CCleaner and have done a clean of my computer (including Chrome) and a clean of the registry. Again, these actions didn't help.

Does anybody know how to stop these messages from happening?

Thanks in advance for your help

Neil

Thank you for screenshot.

Are you getting this popup when you access the Chrome browser?

Did you check for the file in the path mentioned in the popup?

Keep us posted.
