What is cache i dont know what it is

Hello Julianna,
Cache is a collection of items of the same type stored in a hidden or inaccessible place. When you're searching for anything on the website then it automatically saved or it create a separate folder on the system. It may took small area of fast memory used by the central processing unit and system will gets slowdown. We're removing it, to get the actual space no duplicate file and run the central processing unit effectively.

I would like someone to explain what cache is and what it is actually for and what happens if i delete it what am i actually deleting
