What is wrong with these extentions?

Hello Slick,

We realize the situation and let us explain how this works.
The browser extension scan is based on the overall rating provided for the most of the extensions available.
Hence, if you have any of the poorly rated extensions installed, then AVG would should you notification about it.
As of now, there is no option to whitelist for this browser extension result.
If you would like to use the extension, then simply ignore the result of it.
Thank you.

Thank you for the information Slick,
We can certainly take a look into this. Could you share a screenshot of the AVG page (where it say Bookmark Search Plus 2 is poorly rated) to proceed further?
You can post the screenshot here on your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Regards,
Alok.

Well, what do you know, it popped up again today. The interval is irregular, but I did not expect it to pop up again so soon… Here's the screenshot. I presume the <ALT>+<PRINT SCREEN> version is acceptable? I have a dual-monitor setup and the images are quite large. What is wrong with Bookmark Search Plus 2 or Center Pages?

I will, but it usually only pops up once a week and getting the pop-up is what reminded me of my post since I did not get an alert.
It will probably be another week before I get nagged again.

I'm using the pre-Web extension version of Firefox. About once a week AVG is nagging me about the following extensions being "poorly rated" and wanting to remove them, yet I cannot find any information on the web on what is wrong with them.and I find them extremely useful:
Social Disconnect Plus
Bookmark Search Plus 2
Center Pages

What is wrong with them? Especially "Bookmark Search Plus 2"? They seem like they have good ratings on addons.mozilla.org, and I don't see any articles with a cursory Google search saying that they are doing bad things the way Stylish was corrupted.

Could somebody please give me more information on why I should get rid of them other than some arbitrary "Poorly rated", and also how to whitelist them to stop the nagging? Especially for bookmark search.

Hi, Slick.
The add on rating process is confidential and we can not reveal it. The ratings were increased for all of the mentioned extensions, and they must be fine now.

Slick, we are available 24/7, so you can share the screenshot of the popup whenever you get it.

Slick, we will escalate the case to our senior team to know more about this issue.

Once we get the response from them we will keep you posted about it.

We would appreciate your patience in this matter.

Where is the data coming from? According to mozilla's site two of them are highly rated. Social Disconnect Plus used to be 5 stars, but it has dropped steadly in the last couple years since the change to "everything is https".That one I will give you, but if you follow the links I provided earlier the other two are highly rated.
I can't find anything negative about them with a simple google search, so this is why I ask why they are "poorly rated"> Who is rating them poorly and where is that data listed?
