What's the point now of the tray icon?

I have AVG Internet Security on my laptop, table and pc.

The tray icon seems to do NOTHING on anoy of them.  This is so annoying as it doesn't show when a scan is in progress.  I only know this when the system seems a little sluggish and the cpu usage is high, but I have to open AVG to check!

Why have you changed this?

Also, why have you changed what used to be a little slide-up confirmation box around the tray area to confirm scan results, to a huge intrusive one!

Makes no sense to me - it's nuisance and annoyance.

Oh and I'm using the paid-for version with several licences, but probably won't be renewing because of this nonsense.
