I noticed that the Outlook add-on adds some text to the footer of each e-mail which indicates that the e-mail was scanned and shows the virus database version along with the release date. My question is, when is this footer added? When the e-mail is sent? When it's opened or saved? Also, is this footer message appended to e-mail drafts, or just for e-mails that are actually sent?
Hi Oliver,
The message is added after scanning the e-mail which means it's added before it gets into your e-mail client (for incoming messages) and after you send it (for outgoing).
Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Thanks,
Jan
