When I try to open my AVG 2015 I get the error message, Windows can not open this program because it has been prevented by a software restriction policy. I have not changed any settings. So at the moment I can not scan my system

Business and Ultimate versions of Windows have Group Policy settings. This is actually not an AVG issue. My own PC experience is with Home versions, but I could've found you a Microsoft link if you had mentioned what version of Windows you are running. The Help menu on your PC could also be consulted.
