Why am I Seeing Internet Security when I purchased Anti Virus?

I certainly understand your frustration. I would like to inform you that business decision to force update all customers to version 2017 has been made by our management to be able to provide our customers with the highest level of security and currently there is no plan to change it. Also, you will not be charged for the AVG Internet Security.

In May this year I renewed my AVG Anti Virus program but about a week ago Internet Security appeared and Anti Virus has vanished. I'd like to know why this happened as the software was 'upgraded' on my computer without my permission. As Internet Security is a more expensive option I feel that AVG are trying to sell me a product I don't want and have not asked for. Since installing the software by stealth, I'm now getting the AVG shopping cart pop up and even though I 'empty' it, it persists in trying to sell me Internet Security and a few other options that I don't want and don't need. Has anybody else had AVG Internet Security foisted on them without being asked? Personally I'm really starting to get pissed off with AVG even though I've been using it for about a decade.
