Why can't I access the management console?

Marc,
Sorry for the trouble. Unfortunately, due to recommendations gathered from our customers, we have removed Zen for Android devices and it's not possible to view it on AVG management console installed on PC. Please be informed that your concern has been already escalated to our senior team. We will get back to you once we received a response from them.

If my phone gets lost or stolen I would like to be able to access the management console from my laptop. IT DOES NOT EXIST! Tech support directing me to instructions that are useless is not helping. I want to be able to see my phone from my laptop. Does anyone no how this is really accomplished? This is getting beyond frustrating.

Please follow the steps below to activate the AVG Anti-virus PRO and AVG Cleaner PRO using Ultimate package :

1. Device Menu -> Settings -> Apps/Application Manager -> AVG -> Uninstall.
2. Restart your device once.
3. Open Google play store app on your device.
4. Search for AVG Anti-virus and AVG Cleaner.
5. Locate and install the free version of the app.
6. Now open the installed app.
7. Tap on the drawer (3 lines) on top-left of the app and select Login option.
8. Enter your My Account email address and password.

Now, the AVG Anti-virus and AVG Cleaner will upgrade to PRO.

If not, please wait for 24 hours and check whether it's upgraded to PRO. I'm sure this information will help you.

"…we have removed Zen for Android devices and it's not possible to view it on AVG management console installed on PC". Yet another nonsensical reply. There is no AVG management console!!!

Yet again, more apologies, and more instructions that ultimately lead no where. I viewed the management console and attempted to add my pone to my network. Opened the email, followed the instructions to sign in on my phone, but it wasnt added to my network. So uninstalled and then reinstalled avg  on my phone after sending a further email. Now have avg on both my laptop and my phone, but they are not on the same network. I closed avg on my laptop and now the management aspect has gone. I'm guessing I have to use the avg zen download workaround everytime i want to see my network. If I hadn't gone beyond the 30 day refund time I would be out of here.As it is, I'm stuck with this for 2 years! Please don't bother trying to explain things that dont work. It is wasting all of our time. I just have to realise that there is no point putting antitheft on my phone as i cant access it if it is stolen. Totally useless. SORT YOUR SELVES OUT AVG!!!

Marc,

This isn't the experience we want you to have. Since AVG Zen app has been discontinued for Android and Internet Security on Windows, you may not be able to manage your Android devices from Zen interface on your Windows computer.

I would request you go to my.avg.com and enter your AVG Myaccount credentials to see the Android device information and Anti-theft notifications. Also, add and manage devices from PC Zen interface on Windows PC, instead the devices can be viewed by logging in my.avg.com and the scan and update feature cannot be monitored from the my.avg.com. However, our developers are working on the redesign of AVG Main Interface.

I have checked our records you have purchased AVG Internet Security  Unlimited through AVG Website for 3 years.
