Why can't I install a program and some websites that are needed

We're here to help. If you are using AVG AntiVirus Free or AVG Internet Security, right click AVG icon in system tray and use the On/Off slider to disable AVG protection temporarily. Now verify if you can install the program and access websites.

I have tried to install a program and go to a website but can't access it. Does AVG stop this and how  do I get around it
