Why does the firewall program need to upgrade in order to activate? Is this not covered with the Anti-virus program I just pirchased?

i continue to see warnings that my subscription will end 29 Sep 14.  I just recently re-newed my anti-virus program, is this program that is ending not covered by the program I purchased?

Hi Neil,
According to our database you recently purchased AVG Performance multidevice (1 year subscription) it doesn't contain any antivirus/firewall protection.
