Why doesn't AVG remember my answers?

As we understand you have set your AVG product in "Interactive mode", is that right?
Is there any option or check box "Always use the same settings" in that prompt?

I have AVG set to prompt me about whether or not to allow a program.

Certain programs, such as Microsoft Outlook, always make AVG pop up and ask if I want to allow it. In these cases I do, so I choose accordingly and also check the box so that AVG will remember my answer and not ask me again. Yet it keeps asking about the same programs anyway, over and over. I use Windows 10 but I had the same thing happen in Windows 8 and 8.1.

Why does AVG persist in this obnoxious behavior and how to I stop it? I don't want AVG deciding everything for me, but I do want it to remember my previous answers and do THOSE things as I TOLD it to already.
