Why has AVG turned into a Sales Driven Machine?

AVG… please offer an "Opt Out" of all your continual - every day barrage of sales tactics for add-ons that I do not want.  I've been a paying customer and an AVG believer for many many years.  Please stop punishing me with continual pop up adds for subscriptions to things I purposefully didn't pay for.  

If you do not fix this, I will be looking for another Security company to fill my needs when my subscription is up.  Something that will run in the background and "quietly" do their job without being so needy.
