Dear Customer support, I am sorry but I do not accept your explaination, this issue was caused by the Secure VPN software which is why I removed it from my systems. Now my laptop is hanging when booting up looking for the VPN, something has been left behind from the application when I removed it There are no files or directories on the hard disk driv under AVG VPN, what file names and in what locations in the registry should I look to find them.
.
Hi Tim.
We regret to hear that AVG Secure VPN did not meet your expectations. We'll take this as your valuable feedback.
Regarding the WiFi connectivity issue, we believe this is not caused by AVG Secure VPN because the app was uninstalled.
Unless you encountered any issues during uninstallation, the app was completely removed from your PC.
Unfortunately, there is no tool to manually uninstall AVG Secure VPN. You can search your hard disk for leftovers from AVG Secure VPN and remove them.
Hi, I purchased AVG VPN last weekend, in less than 24 hours I had uninstalled it and requested a refund due to several issues such as not allowing me to connect to my NAS drive on my home network, not allowing me to access mapped drives on my PC's and preventing onedrive from logging in, along with all of the remote server time out issues and cannot resolve DNS information. I am running windows 10 professional on all computers on my network. Annoyingly since uninstalling the application my wifi connection on my laptop will not auto connect, I have to put my laptop into flight safe mode and then back into wifi mode, and then my laptop will connect to my network. It would appear that the uninstall option does not completely remove all of the registry entry's, is there a AVG cleaner app that I can use to remove the registry entry or clean up the registry because AVG Tuneup is not resolving the problem, and to think I paid to have this inconveinience.
Tim, AVG files in default will be located in C drive during installation.
As you have AVG Internet Security, I suggest you to disable it and check if you're able to access the internet.
For the steps to disable AVG, refer the link below.
