I gave AVG/Digital River Ireland my debit card information in order to get the free trial. Will they charge me without notice or will I get an email notifying me that my free trial is up and I need to cancel or accept the continued subscription?

You will receive an email notification 10 days prior to the expiry date and this will contain information on the date of charge and a link to cancel this automatic renewal.
