Hey believe there are some post about this.
I keep getting a notification box from AVG Internet Security saying 'Threat Secured' we have moved this to quarantine:
Win32:Malware-gen
I cleared my quarantine folder out, but still keep getting this notification. I have run a deep scan and nothing found.
Please suggest how to stop this notification

AVG has detected XtuService.exe file as infected.
If you are aware of this file and know it is safe, kindly report it as a false positive.
If not, kindly navigate and delete that file.
I jave been having same issue for about a week. The file is connected with Omen Gaming Hub and is used in some performance measurement. Eroor comes up when computer switches on saying file has been moved to Quarentine but it is not there. It will then come up again twice if you run Omen Gaming Hub but the hub carries on working. Is this safe to report as a false positive aand if so when will it be corrected as it is annoying? Thanks
Hi
Thank you for your comments. I identified the XtuService, which for me may be connected to the ROG GPU Tweak 2 which allows for overclocking. I have deleted to service, but still get the AVG notification. All AVG scans come up with no threats.
Should I uninstall the ROG GPU tweak software as this seems to be the trigger for the AVG notification?
If I am still getting this AVG notifcation, how do I report as a false positive. Assume AVG devs will then investigate and advise a course of action.
Thanks
