Windows 10 Anniversary update

That's a lame response Karthikeyan. I have the same issue and searching for a solution points to AVG as the cause or an incompatability with the graphics driver. Why does this error occur when AVG wants to install an update? It's hardly a ringing endorsement for AVG.

I just updated my laptop to windows 10 anniversary update and as soon as I got to my desktop and check a few things out, AVG popped up a message to reboot my machine. I closed everything down and clicked the reboot now button.  my computer rebooted and I got 8 lines of message on my black screen and the system freezes.  they are phase 0 watchdog initializing and four messages about that then phase 1 and sub-systems starting and some other systems starting then initialization finished. and that my folks is were the computer locks and stays for hours, and for days I have tried rebooting. I have tried f8 and all the other f-keys no way to bypass it no way to boot up and no way computing. any fix to AVG's reboot?  thanks
