Hello Robert. I would request you to run AVG remover tool  to completely remove AVG and then re install.To use remover tool please use this link : http://www.avg.com/filedir/util/TuneUp_Remover.exe .

NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually. Thank you.

I updated from Windows 8.1 to 10. Now AVG free will not install. Initialization of the Windows installer fails and the error message includes the code OxE001C008.
PC Tuneup has disappeared.How do I resolve these issues?

To reinstall AVG Antivirus Free http://files-download.avg.com/inst/av/avg_free_stb_all_2015_ltst_175.exe
To reinstall AVG PC TuneUp http://download.avg.com/filedir/inst/avg_tuh_stf_all_2015_604.exe
