We would like to understand more about the situation. Please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of that error message you received and let us know how they narrow down this with AVG Antivirus?

Has anyone else gotten the "Windows 10 could not automatically detect this networks proxy settings?
 I was told by support at Windows that this is an anti virus issue.
