Hi. I posted this before using an alternative email address. It was escalated and I downloaded data from the AVG Sysinfo tool as requested. I did not receive a response from AVG but could that be because, in error, I used an email address which was not registered with AVG ?
Could I please start again with the correct email ?
I use the sleep function in Win 7 control panel set to 10 min.but after the AVG update on 02Jan17, instead of sleeping the computer (and fan) remain on but the computer freezes with a black screen. I have to power down and restart - there is no other option.
If I uninstall AVG it works perfectly until I reinstall AVG.
Any ideas much appreciated - Windows 7 Pro / Internet Security 2016
