The best I can do now is to quote the following log entries which each occurs at an approximate rate of 2400 messages per hour (see below for my translations to english):
CreateAppContainerProfile mislyktes med feilen 0x800706D9 fordi den ikke kunne registreres i brannmuren.
and
UpdateAppContainerProfile mislyktes for AppContainer onecore\ds\security\gina\profile\profext\appcontainer.cpp Line:2038 Office Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe med feilen 0x800706D9.
which each occurs at an approximate rate of . 2400 messages per hour
My translations:
CreateAppContainerProfile failed vith the error 0x800706D9 beccause it could not be registered in the firewall
and
UpdateAppContainerProfile failed for AppContainer onecore\ds\security\gina\profile\profext\appcontainer.cpp Line:2038 Office Microsoft.MicrosoftOfficeHub_8wekyb3d8bbwe with the error 0x800706D9.
A recent Windows update apparently resulted in my PC becoming extremely slow for some 30 - 60 minutes after each startup. Windows logs indicate that there is some firewall conflict between Windows Defender and AVG.
I seem to have (temporarily) circumvented the problem by checking "Delay AVG startup".
Any comments?
I am having a very similar issue. It looks like a tug-of-war between AVG and Windows Defender Firewall. After a half hour the disk light goes off and I can use the PC. Logs are showing many ugly errors, but not sure what they mean. AVG up to date (it was May version before this started).
Do I need to remove AVG?
Help?
I have had a lot of confusing observations now and feel unable to provide any relevant screenshots assuch.
However, I hope some of the information below may be relevant:
The very first indication of any problem is an error log on July18:
svchost.exe_Frameserver finished working. (My translation)
The full error report is (in Norwegian)
Programnavn med feil: svchost.exe_FrameServer, versjon: 10.0.19041.1, tidsangivelse: 0x7f0c4c00
Modulnavn med feil: combase.dll, versjon: 10.0.19041.329, tidsangivelse: 0x2dc62b62
Unntakskode: 0xc0000005
Feilforskyvning: 0x00000000000d24e8
…
The immediate symptoms are severe delays, particularly on sessions with applications outside my own PC.
…
One problem is logged on July 30: Windows hardware error: LiveKernelEvent
This caused me to do a full search with both SFC and with AVD Driver Updadter. (Errors were found and repaired).
A few times I have also experienced some cases of temporary loss (for up to several hours?) of sound from my PC speakers without any indication of why the loss nor why the return.
…
I have checked my PC with SFC and also AVD Driver Updater .
Current status seems to be that I can start up my PC, but it remains unacceptably slow for 30 - 60 minutes, after which it seems to operate more normally.
Here I must add that I have discovered a parameter related to the enhanced firewall:
IP block timeout 1800000 milliseconds. (This is apparently a default value?)
It seems more than just a coincidence when this timeout value more or less matches the delay after startup before my PC (earliest) recovers to normal operation?
Can any of this aid you in how I/we can continue the trouble shooting?
regards Sven

Thank you for the information, Sven.
We are requesting these information which would help us to analyze the root cause.
Could you provide the screenshot of message 'Windows logs indicate that there is some firewall conflict between Windows Defender and AVG' that appeared on Windows logs?

Hello Sven.
Could you share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/30ptlLh) of the Windows log about the conflict?
Hello Sven.
Could you share a screenshot (https://bit.ly/30ptlLh) of the Windows log about the conflict?
Appreciate your attempts in providing us all the possible you think that would help us, Sven. Let us work towards fixing the issue.
Please let us know the version of AVG that is installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).
Also, help us with the Windows update (KB#) to investigate further on this.
Todd apparently reported the same problem as mine independently of my report.
I don't remember my activities on this problem, but it appears that I no longer have the option "Delay AVG startup" checked. And I am at present not aware of any problem.with AVG.
Regards Sven
