Hello, a few days ago I uninstalled a 3rd-party Firewall I was using. I now use the Windows Firewall (it is fully enabled - W10 x64) but PC TuneUp keeps warning me that I don't have a Firewall and I need to install one.
Is this by design (which would be wrong) or there's a problem? Screenshot below.
Hi Alex,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns.
Please check that your Windows Firewall is turned on. In case it is turned on, please provide me a screenshot of the error message. Here is a link with the steps to create a screenshot : http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot . You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Yes the WF is turned on. But I have attached a screenshot, it's right there in my first post and I can see it right now. Right below where I say "Screenshot below".
Hello Alex,
Thank you so much for providing screenshot again, I really appreciate your effort in resolving this issue. The AVG PC Tuneup is just suggesting you install AVG Firewall/AVG Internet Security for better protection. You can just ignore this suggestion and it will not ask you again to install Firewall.
Best regards,
Alok.
