Windows settings get deleted by Automatic Maintenance

Yes, I have seen that reply for the pinned folders and applied the solution.  BUT IT DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE BATTERY SETTING ISSUE.

Hello Paul,

Could you please share the screenshot (http://https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=AVG-Create-screenshot) of the Battery settings which automatically set to 40%?

You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on Answer & then click on the Image [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions. Thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

We're glad to help you with the info.
There is a possibility for AVG TuneUp to remove the quick access shortcuts while removing system junk Program temp files.
Our developers are already aware of this & working on it to fix it at the earliest.
Meanwhile, we request you to not clear folder untill it is fixed.
To skip the specific folder : Open TuneUp - Free Up space - System Junk - Program temp files - Uncheck 'Jump list temp files' to ignore.
Note : Please ensure that it is skipped in subsequent scans & then fix the detected issues.

Similar to the issue with AVG deleting pinned folders in windows explorer.  I am finding that it also deletes my windows settings.  Best example. I set my battery saver setting to 10%, but every time the automatic maintenance happens, the setting gets reset to 40% for some reason.  It's really annoying that settings users deliberately change are getting wiped away by AVG Tuneup.
