Hi Maurice,
AVG Driver Updater setup file is legitimate & it seems to be a false positive from Windows Defender.
In this regard, we suggest you to disable 'Real time protection' & 'Smart screen' feature in Windows Defender to download the setup file.
Once, you've downloaded & installed, you can update the drivers after adding Driver Updater to exclusion in Windows Defender.
If you feel that this is complicated, we'd suggest you to take advantage of our free remote assistance. An email which has the steps to connect with our remote team has been sent to you.
However, we're more than glad to help you, if you prefer this channel.

During a scan with Windows Defender a virus "Misleading:Win32/Lodi
was reported. I have subsequently traced this to AVG Driver Updater. I have tried reinstalling AVG Driver Updater and get this message again.
Any ideas.
Thanks MJ
