Refer to this article to change the network profile of your AVG Internet Security from "Public" to "Private".
Refer to this article & enable the following AVG Enhanced firewall's system rules:
- Allow Windows File and Printer sharing
- Allow remote desktop connections to this computer
Once you've performed the above actions, restart your computer once & check if the issue still persists.
It started happening recently, maybe after the latest upgrade where the workstations on the private network cannot access data on the server unless AVG is turned OFF. Is there a configuration switch in the firewall to allow workstations access? If yes, please provide step-by-step details to avoid confusion because I already tried a few things without success.
