I understand the inconvenience.
The last computer scan will update only when you click on "Scan Computer" option available on the interface.
Please click on "Scan computer" and complete the scanning process.
Once it is done, check whether last computer scan shows correct message.

In the current release, AVG User Interface will show the “Last scan run” data only if you press "Scan Computer" floating button and not for any other scans. The Quick scan, Deep scan, and full computer scan or scheduled scan will not update the last scan status.

Even just after a scan, there is the indication:
Last computer scan: 5 month ago.

The problem is in the "Deep scan"
Normal scan updates the "Last computer scan" indication.
It happened after the last software update.
