Thanks for giving me the same generic answer y'all are giving to everybody, but hey, how about answering the big part of my question. Where are my files since the quarantine area is empty? Nice that you avoided that part in your answer, but I'm not going to.
Hi Robert. I apologize for the inconvenience caused with the recent update. I understand that, the removed files are not in quarantined location. Please disable AVG and update the Plex application. Once the application is updated, add the file to exception to make it work temporarily. I also request you to submit the particular application for further analysis https://secure.avg.com/submit-sample.
I logged onto my media pc today to update my plex and to add some files, however when I looked at my screen it says AVG quarantined a bunch of my files from plex, and they are NOT in the quarantine. Where are my files, how do I even see what they were? There isnt a "so called report folder" you're telling people to go look at. This crap started with your update to 17.4.3014. I've had plex running well over a year and now your pos decides my files are unsafe and REMOVED them not quarantined them. So how do I get these back, where did you're pos put my files, and how the hell do I get rid of these fracking annoying pop ups?
Robert,
Again, please accept my humble apology. This is a known bug (the pop-ups you're receiving) and our developers are working on a fix. However, the pop-up/message is downloading of the file was blocked, it means the file was not saved in your computer hence it does not show up in the AVG quarantine.
You will get an update once the issue is resolved.
