Hello my fellow computer professionals, I just downloaded the new "Internet security" program (AVG) and all went well. i am running XP here, and I have had good luck with AVG for a few years now, It works well.
On the new program, the AVG leaves a message on the bottom of my emails that says it has been scanned, that great… but scanning all my emails slows down my computer, and I don’t care to see any message on the bottom of my emails that it has been scanned.
I opened up the menu and found and unchecked “enable AVG email signature” I don’t know if that is suppose to take care of the above problem or not, but didn’t seem to do it from what I can tell.
So the question is, how can I stop my emails from being scanned all the time, so I can speed up the process of downloading my emails and how do I get the AVG message off my emails along with the AVG logo, the logo looks nice but don’t care to have it plastered all over the bottom of my emails.
Thank you so much please don’t be mad at me
Joe
