Hi,

I'm getting a pop-up with the text in the topic. Have tired all solutions from | AVG. Nothing has worked. I am now unable to simply scan files on my computer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am sorry to hear that the issue persists.

It seems that the older traces of AVG is still present.

Uninstall AVG using this clear tool https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe and install the latest version.

NOTE: When you are prompted to restart in safe mode, please click on "NO" and continue to uninstall AVG in normal mode.
