AVG Blocking Screen Casting from my laptop to TV

One of the steps that Hari Shankar suggested actually worked and I think it's the number 5 that did the trick. If anyone else is having the same problem - creating a new rule in a private connection did it for me. Thank you very much for your help! Take care

Hello.
I;m having difficulties connecting to the second screen (Tab S8 Ultra). Tried the steps mentioned above, but can't figure out what steps to change at step 5. Protocol? direction? adres? etc. Any tips?

I'm having problem with screen sharing my PC and laptop on my LG TV, the AVG firewall is blocking it. When I turn it off it works. I tried checking "Allow Internet Connection Sharing mode", my network at home is marked as Trusted, but when I try to connect to TV which is connected on the same network, it creates its own network by the names "Network 1,2,3,4…etc". Every time I try to connect it creates new connection and all those connections are marked as Untrusted. When I try to chenge the last one to trusted, it just creates new network and it's untrusted again, and AVG refuses to connect. Please help

I have AVG VPN installed, but it is not working when I try to connect. I close the program.

I tried, when I turn off Enhanced Firewall it works normally. When I turn it back on it doesn't work. I have turned on Interner connection sharing mode, I even tried to turn on all the rules for public networks as well with all the rules for private networks, but it still doesn't work with that. When I look in logs of my last failed attempt I can see that the apps were blocked with the rule: PublicTcp/Udp In Block. If that helps.

Hi Bojan,

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue and we'll certainly help you further.

Please check if you have installed VPN services installed on your PC. If found, we suggest you to disable it and check if you're able to screen mirror.

As VPN service will change your IP address and make your network anonymous. So you need to disable it to enable screen mirroring.
If the issue persists after disabling VPN, we will provide additional support to connect with our AVG free remote technician.
Thank you and keep us informed.

Thank you for writing back to us, Bojan.
We are glad to know that you issue has been resolved.
Please do not hesitate to contact us back for further assistance with AVG.
Thank you.

Thank you for the great  demonstration with Bojan of how a situation should always be handled! You came in, right to the point!
I just recently subscribed again with AVG. I have used the Free version for many years with graditude to your company for making it available & useable to anyone who had a PC within their reach. Lately with most of  the crime steming from hacking of even the highest levels of government  to the TV that sits in our homes is just so unsettling. I'm starting to wonder if it's worth it to have PC's. But then if we don't we'll never know what the bad guys are up to next.
So, anyway I just wanted you  to know I was impressed with your actions with Bojan's situation. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker. I'm a 72 year old Great Gramma with bouts of insomnia so I tend to read about things I own or use. Plus my oldest boy is an IT Specialist for a banking company out in Calfornia, he is my fixer upper of all the PC's I've ever owned.
Good luck in the future of computer knowledge, sure sounds like you're well on your way.
